印刷インキ工業連合会（佐久間国雄会長）は22日、（社）日本印刷産業連合会（猿渡智会長）に対し「印刷インキの生産出荷に関する危機的状況について」の公式文書を提出し、現状を説明した。
　それによると、東北地方太平洋沖地震によりプラント火災や製品倉庫の荷崩れ等が化学関係企業で多発し、印刷インキの主要原材料調達が非常に厳しい状況に陥り、生産活動に多大な影響が出ているという。加えて、重油・LPG等燃料不足が深刻な状況を呈しているほか、計画停電の実施に伴い生産体制の根本的な見直しを迫られるとともに、製品出荷においてもガソリン・軽油不足の状況が一段と顕在化し、顧客への納品の遅れや滞りなど不測の事態発生を否定できないとしている。
　印刷インキ工業連合会では「今後、インキ製品によっては製品及び原料在庫が途切れる可能性があり、かつて経験したことのない業界環境の渦中にあるという、まさに『非常事態』である」としている。
