Car photography is dead

Spoke with a photographer and asked him if he’s ever shot cars before. He said no and proceeded to tell me that car photography was dead. I’ll have to show him some of the photos on Tumblr & Flickr and it’ll quickly change his mind.

Seriously, if it weren’t for these amazing photographers I would have very little to post. So thank you to the rightful owners of these pieces of art, for making these great shots happen.

my current favourite photography and tumblr site - Uchihara Yasuhiko.
I cannot even get close to describe why I like them or how it makes me feel, but there is a certain somethingness that appeals. Maybe it’s the composition that feels full to bursting, lacking a kind of reference for your eyes to settle on. Its more a depiction of shapes, colours, angles and light.
Anyway, I’m rambling now.
